EMPOWERING EQUESTRIANS!
The Core Workshop Logo

Ever wonder how the pros do it? Now you can get in on their secret to success! The best equestrians across the world may not always know what to do, but they do know how to find out - they know how to ask questions, get answers and build a plan in order to achieve their greatest potential! They also do all of this in split second moments, it has become second nature, and for that reason it is the secret that is not often talked about or taught... They implement the use of Critical Thinking, as well as many techniques used in Life Coaching and threads of Dialectic Thinking.

Whether you are new to the game or have been in it all of your life, this workshop is for every equestrian. No matter your discipline, breed preference or level of involvement, we want you to become empowered in your riding! Fast track your thinking and riding!

Questions?

A question is just a question, right? Wrong! There is a difference between 'good' questions and 'bad' ones, and it is all in the intent behind the question and the quality of the answer that it elicits. A bad question can leave an icky feeling in your mouth just as easily as it can leave you confused, frustrated, unclear or at a dead-end.

Learning the right way to ask questions and lead discussions not only maximizes the amount of information you can gather, it also leads you to faster learning, fewer moments of uncertainty, and speeds you along the path to greater horsemanship!

Questions That Empower

Empowerment, that is what The Core Workshop™ strives to give to its participants. How can a rider be empowered if they do not know what questions to ask in order to settle any confusion in their mind? Our education can leave us at a loss on how to critically assess a situation and form the essential questions needed to discover or develop a solution. Wrote memorization helps little in the world of ever-changing interaction that is involved with horses. Did you know that there are two distinct types of questions that a person can ask? And the answers that are given can be open ended or can completely shut down any further information gathering? Being able to recognize both the types of questions you are asking, and the types of answers you are getting is a big step in improving your communication with those around you, allowing you to find the information you need to make decisions, ask other questions, and further develop yourself as an equestrian.

Achieving Goals and Developing Plans

Understanding what questions to ask is a necessary key to setting and achieving goals, as well as creating step-by-step plans to reach those goals. Want to train your horse but uncertain the order you should approach it with? Want to teach a specific movement and can't figure out how to get from point A to point B? The Core Workshop shows you just how to develop plans that make the seemingly complicated into simple and easy!

Question and Answer Time

The Core Workshop™ is designed as a 2-day workshop, diving deep into the fundamentals of how to ask questions and how to recognize the value of the answers you are getting in return. Erica breaks down the qualities involved in questions and answers into chewable pieces, while also discussing the importance of recognizing the unnecessary elements that can befuddle and confuse the questioner and questionee. Then she takes you through how to decifer the answers you are given to produce an unending supply of potential questions, leading one to a wealth of information from the simplest thread of questions.
