Sweet, sensitive, beautiful... Andie is a head turner even in pasture-potato condition. You are immediately drawn to her sweet temperament and lovely face, and kept enchanted by her presence!
Andie was sired by the now deceased Hanoverian stallion, Adios III. Bred in Germany by H Klausing, he was imported from the state stud at Celle by Graf Bae Farm in 1991 to then stand at Bridlewood Farm in Kentucky for 3 years. He proved to be an outstanding sire, producing many successful competition horses and quality Hanoverian broodmares until his untimely death at the age of 17. Adios III is also the dam-sire of the approved stallion Waldaire. Adios III decends from the well known 'A' line of Absatz, known for stamping a very specific type as well as bestowing both Dressage and Jumping talent. Andie's Thoroughbred lineage is also quite impressive containing champion racers, the x-factor, and stallions known for producing excellent Steeplechasing talents. Among those include twice to War Admiral (1937 Triple Crown Winner, Horse of the Year, Champion 3-year-old and Hall of Fame Inductee) who is son of Man O' War.
Andie leads, loads, ties, clips, baths and trims. She is quite a delight to work with overall. She was shown as a young horse in Training Level dressage before we acquired her as a broodmare. While being primarily a broodmare, she would be simple to put back into training as a riding horse to continue where she left off. Not a beginner's horse as she will need training to be a consistent riding horse again. Has produced foals with excellent temperaments, lovely gaits and well conformed!
