Wel­come to my per­sonal por­tal, site, port­fo­lio, whatcha-ma-call-it… !

Admit­tedly I have post­poned the inevitable of actu­ally putting my work up and out there in one cen­tral loca­tion until the birds have begun cir­cling, and so it is with the ripe tim­ing of fate that you now find my site.

I’m Erica, a 20-something who finds her­self all too fre­quently intrigued and inter­ested in *more* — that mag­i­cal word that describes every­thing and noth­ing in just four sim­ple let­ters. I have a great many inter­ests and it seems that the more I work at one, the more oppor­tu­ni­ties open up to me and I am very quickly entrenched in learn­ing about those as well!

I began work­ing with horses a long time ago, and to try and make a long story fairly short and mildly inter­est­ing — it has led me to learn about con­for­ma­tion and genet­ics, health, fit­ness, nutri­tion, mind over mat­ter (aka med­i­ta­tion), writ­ing, design­ing web­sites, graphic design, in a way­ward sort of way it has even brought me to mod­el­ing and act­ing. I think I have just about cov­ered it right there for the moment being…

At the present I am prepar­ing to go back to school for Nutri­tion Sci­ence at the Uni­ver­sity of Wis­con­sin, put together my sec­ond issue of an online mag­a­zine called Haute To Trot. I work as a Mas­sage Ther­a­pist at a local day spa, give pri­vate rid­ing lessons at my facil­ity in south­ern Wis­con­sin.
